Long
Range Planning Committee
The initial charge of the committee is to create a process by which
the MICCS Board of Directors can be assisted in creating a long-range
(two-three year) plan for MICCS. Creating the process as well as making
suggestions for elements of the plan, this committee has a very important
job.
One of the first tasks the committee undertook was a Web-based survey.
The results of the survey
are not scientific, since there were many more craft people who completed
the survey than others in the industry. However, it certainly provides
insight into how MICCS might better serve craft people and the industry.
The committee meets monthly, normally for about three hours.
