Fall Protection Wording Added To Instruction To Bidders For Steel
Erection
(Company) is committed to building projects with zero injuries. All
contractors and subcontractors are to comply with relevant sections
of subpart M and Subpart R of the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
In addition, all contractors are to enforce 100% fall protection for
all employees engaged in steel erection with fall hazard exposures
of 15 ft. or greater. This exposure will be measured from the top
of steel to the ground or from the top of steel to top of steel. Fall
protection is used when fall prevention measures cannot adequately
protect the worker from fall hazards.
