Becoming Involved

What is true about the value of any trade association is also certainly true about MICCS: your company will get out of MICCS the equivalent of what your company gives to MICCS. One of the most precious resources is your time! Volunteering for MICCS makes good business sense:

  • MICCS works to make our industry better. By volunteering, you are helping us to achieve that goal!

  • Volunteers are always sharing information. While you may be attending a meeting to plan the awards banquet, you may very well leave the meeting with more information about how to keep your employees safer!

  • Employees who volunteer learn valuable skills that may not be directly related to their job, but help make them better employees! Organizational and communication skills are enhanced by volunteering. In addition, your employees will know that safety is a core value your company when you allow them to volunteer on a MICCS committee.

  • MICCS is a cross-section of the entire industry: the networking opportunities in MICCS cannot be replicated in any other association!
