MICCS
Awards Committee
This Committee begins each August to start planning for the Annual
Anniversary & Awards Banquet that occurs each April. They are responsible
for all facets of the event, from deciding what each category needs
to submit for each award, the criteria for each award and even
what
the awards look like! In addition, they work with the MICCS staff
in organizing the event itself: planning with the facility staff
and
overseeing other details such as the budget for the event, its
publicity plan, attaining sponsors and even deciding upon the centerpieces.
The committee normally meets once each month from August through April.
Their meetings normally last about 90 minutes.
